Take a 45 minute tour of Lake Te Anau on the Faith with historian Ron Bull, and enjoy kapa haka by Ngā Herenga Waka.

HAVE-A-GO WAKA TOURS @ Marakura Yacht Club

Sunday 06 February - From 10:30AM
Have-a-go on a waka with the guidance of the experienced Te Piritahi a Rua Waka Ama crew. Trips depart the beach near Marakura Yacht Club, following the shoreline of Lake Te Anau towards the control gates, and back. Lifejackets provided for 5 years of age and above. Please BYO lifejacket for any younger children wanting to participate with their guardian.  

Kai available for purchase from 1:00PM onwards by Ngā Herenga Waka kapa haka group. Kai stall will be located outside the Yacht Club.

Ngā Herenga Waka will be first to take the stage, with their awesome kapa haka performance; one to raise the roof! Then, be mesmerised with LIGHT, SAND and SOUND by one of NZ's top live art entertainers THE SANDMAN.
